ABOUT LEARN SCIENCE WITH B
Learn Science With B is a tutoring service dedicated to helping students between the ages of 10 - 18 better understand and learn science. I started this company with the goal of providing students with the extra support they need to excel in their science courses.
Through my one-on-one sessions, I provide students with the tools and guidance they need to overcome any challenge they may face in their studies. My passion for science and education is what drives me to give my students the best tutoring experience possible.

About Me.
I perceive tutoring as a form of mentorship, recognizing the significance of effective communication and establishing a personal rapport in fostering student achievement, alongside the availability of quality learning resources.

My journey began when I, as an A-level student, began assisting in foundation science classes. During an educational break, I contributed to a special needs school and provided personalized science tutoring for learners. This experience ignited a profound passion within me. My aspiration is to provide unparalleled support to students, enabling them to not only grasp the captivating essence of science but also excel in their examinations, ultimately leading them to success.

Lesson Layout

I start lessons with a recap from the previous lesson - Using actives or past papers (Usually takes 5-10 minutes) - This is to ensure that they fully understand the previous lesson.

The main 45- 50 minutes of the lesson cover the topics set for that week.

​The last 5 minutes recap the lesson and discuss what needs to be covered for the next lesson.

My Tutor Experience (2023):
Over the last year, I had the privilege of working closely with My Tutor, where I honed my tutoring skills and deepened my passion for education. My role involved crafting tailored lessons that precisely met each student's unique learning needs. I maintained open lines of communication with the student's classroom teachers, ensuring alignment between our tutoring sessions and the curriculum. Additionally, I provided valuable feedback to teachers, helping them stay informed about the student's progress and areas of improvement.
Teaching Shadowing (2016):
In 2016, I had the valuable opportunity to shadow experienced teachers in various science classes. This experience allowed me to observe and learn from the best, gaining insights into effective teaching techniques and classroom management strategies.
A-Level Support & Community Tutoring (2012-2014):
During my A-level studies from 2012 to 2014, I actively contributed to the educational community. I provided invaluable support to lower-set science classes, assisting students in grasping complex concepts and fostering their academic growth. Furthermore, I dedicated my free time to tutoring KS3 and GCSE students within my church community, fostering a love for learning and helping them achieve their academic goals.
